Daughter of Maddie & Hoons , Shiraz is a dark red like her Mum. She is a beautiful looking young lady and a real cuddler to all she meets. She has the potential to be the  best cattle  dog we have ever had. She shows good eye & also barks during the chase. Excellent to move the sheep with &  she will alert us to any ‘out of the ordinary’ happenings with our stock which is very perceptive for a young dog.

Pack behaviour is amazing to watch and Shiraz  started  to move up the ladder to the top. She had her first litter of pups with Bruce in Aug 2011 & we noticed her confidence grow. .. Shiraz has been the leader of our pack for some years now. April 2017 she had her last litter and has now been spayed.

Shiraz adored her Dad.. (both Dads Hoons & Greg). On our walks she would copy Hoons & was often not far behind him looking ready to pounce & copy him. She missed him after he died & spent months looking for him which was sad..

She is so fast.. She is also incredibly agile. Shiraz can & does jump all our fences. I have seen her effortlessly glide across our creek. She is amazing to watch in action.  She is a beautiful dog to have around &  so loyal.

We were really sad when we lost her litter mate Moet but we got Riley soon after & the two have a very close bond. She is quite bossy over the other girls. She has produced some outstanding pups over the years and now 2017 she is enjoying her breeding retirement.. still bossy mind you!!!
